This is a job for a Plant Controller position with a company located in the Senatobia, MS area.
This Position reports to: Finance Manager.
Job Summary: In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead financial processes and transactions to optimize financial performance within the factory/site. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.
The work model for the role is: Onsite.
Key Responsibilities: Support financial planning, controlling, and reporting activities with a strong focus on operational performance and cost optimization. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to drive process efficiency and financial transparency. Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in an operational or manufacturing environment. Strong expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proficiency with an ERP, preferably SAP (especially FI/CO modules). Demonstrated ability to work across functions and regions, with a collaborative mindset. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
