Senior Test Engineer

Solero Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Test Engineer in Water Valley, MS.  Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering required. Employer will accept a foreign degree if determined to be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering by any academic credential evaluation service. Sixty (60) months experience as a Test Engineer, Electrical Test Engineer, or Validation Engineer required. Experience must include five years: (1) providing test equipment support; (2) project management in development of new projects; (3) conducting PLC and test software design and bugging; and (4) revising electrical and mechanical plans. Job Duties: Support and lead team efforts to maintain, improve, and innovate test systems’ design, processes, and methods as they related to electrical equipment and systems. Lead problem-solving efforts in collaboration with quality, product, manufacturing, and production departments, to resolve quality and productivity issues including machine downtime, low pass rate, and increased throughput. Conduct troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, calibration, and environmental monitoring in compliance with technical standards and SOPs. Develop and implement process improvements in collaboration with setups, operators, and supervisors, to reduce costs and cycle times, improve product quality, and enhance operator safety/ergonomics. Modify software, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems to improve test equipment performance. Create and specify control systems software and hardware. Maintain test equipment specifications. Develop and debug control system programming, and aid in the development of electromechanical designs for equipment modification and refurbishment. Oversee the installation and modification and electromechanical components. Develop cost, timing, schedule, and materials lists for projects. Analyze root cause test failure and collaborate with Product / Manufacturing Engineers and production teams to develop corrective actions.
