Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a detail-orientated and motivated Employment Coordinator to work in our administrative office in Gulfport, MS. The Employment Coordinator position will assist in the day-to-day Human Resource operations for a community mental health center covering eighteen counties. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and has a high attention to detail. Previous experience in recruitment and other areas of Human Resources preferred.

Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources required
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
Previous experience working in recruitment or other areas of Human Resources preferred
College coursework in Human Resources preferred
Independent work ability required
Experience working in Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel, required
Excellent communication skills required
Responsibilities:
Maintains agency applicant off boarding tracking system.
Assists with the offboarding process, that includes but is not limited to: resignations, employment claims, ending benefits and exit interviews.
May also provide assistance to other areas of the department as needed, such as assist with new employment orientation at one of our three orientation locations (Hattiesburg, McComb, or Gulfport) with some required travel, answering phones, data entry, performance appraisal process, and conducting training sessions.
