This is a temporary job for 3 workers in Clewiston, Florida. Work begins September 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. The work week is 60 hours per week, 11 hours a day, Monday through Friday, and 5 hours on Saturday. The hourly work schedule is 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Pay is $28.06 per hour.

Agriculture Equipment Operator to operate equipment used to plant, cultivate and harvest corn, peppers, squash, field corn, sugar cane, and seed cane. Including pre-plant activities, plant, field maintenance, and post crop activities for corn, peppers, squash, field corn, sugar cane, and seed cane.

Field Care - Tying plants, planting plants, pruning plants, cleaning drippers and Micro jets, removing plastic drip lines, removing dead plants, and removing debris. Workers will walk along rows specified by the employer and will remove grass and weeds from the fields using their hands or with a hoe. Workers will be standing, crouching, bending and reaching for an extended period.

Operate forklifts and equipment used to move supplies and harvesting equipment in the field. Maintain harvest equipment.

The alternative work is truck maintenance and farm maintenance including the repair, irrigation, vehicles and various equipment and tools used on the farm.
