Qualifications:
5 years Trust or 10 years financial industry experience; Experience working with Specialty Assets preferred
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Capable of independent and proactive work; ability to prioritize work volume
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Outstanding attitude with a priority on team dynamics and customer service
Demonstrates integrity, sound judgement, and excellent work ethic
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proficient in MS365 and general computer skills
Willingness to pursue any applicable certifications
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for accuracy and efficiency of assigned tasks within Trust Operations
Create and Maintain Trust Specialty Assets Desk Procedures
Perform User Access Reviews for Trust Specialty Assets Applications
Act as Trust Specialty Assets liaison for regulatory agencies and Internal Audit (i.e. gather documentation, research and respond to request list items)
Review, approve, or complete Trust Specialty Assets department reporting (for example, monitor monthly Compliance reports like Stale Pricing and assist with Annual Asset Level Reviews for Specialty Assets)
Facilitate transactions for Specialty Assets
Coordinate with Compliance Liaison for bulk postings to client accounts
Handle one-off entries as needed (i.e. OGM jibs)
Post entries for deposits in Real Estate lockbox
Process payments to Third Party Vendors
Initiate transaction transmittal between Specialty Asset applications and the system of record for AM&T
Partner with Trust Tax for all Specialty Asset Tax reporting and research
Coordinate needed asset set up and maintenance (could include initiating or approving work/ticket requests to vendors, notifications to the Specialty Assets Team, etc.)
Ensure Specialty Assets applications maintain data integrity and complete documentation analysis within the imaging system for accuracy and completion pertaining to any Specialty Assets
Contribute to or conduct training for Specialty Assets processing to broader AM&T department
Moderate the Specialty Assets group email and monitor various form response logs
Participate in team projects and be mindful of opportunities to improve efficiencies
