This is a job description for an Amphibious Ship Mission Systems Lead Engineer in Pascagoula, MS.

Summary: R&P is looking for a professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an Amphibious Warfare Engineering Technician with significant Deck Machinery experience that's ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Deck Machinery Integration Representative for LHA/LPD Mission Systems Equipment. Provide Waterfront Production and Quality Installation Oversight of Deck Machinery.  Serves as Subject Matter Expert for Mission Systems Underway Operations.   Maintains productive liaison with the Government, Shipbuilder and Ships Force personnel.

Requirements and Qualifications: Former LHA/LPD LDO SWO Bos'n with Afloat Training Group experience is preferred.  LHA/LPD Well Deck/Vehicle Deck/Flight Deck Operations experience is desired.  LHA/LPD Marine Corp Cargo and Boat Handling operations experience is desired.  Secret Security Clearance.
