This is a job for a Physician - Hematology & Oncology position with a company located in Meridian, MS.
Job Summary: Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology & Oncology physician to build our new Oncology Center in Meridian, MS. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.
Duties: Virtual Tumor Board that meets regularly and that will assist us in building our Oncology program. Outpatient Infusion Center in 2 locations. 340b Drug Pricing to enable access to multiple medications. Established Hospitalist team to handle admissions. Access to advanced technologies and specialty diagnostic support. Radiologist/Oncologist services available in town. On site Lab and Pharmacy. On site cancer support groups and classes, along with dieticians and licensed counselors. In house Radiology and Pathology team. Clinic 4.5 days a week, Monday-Friday. Call limited to 10 days per month and no night call. Excellent earning potential (2-year Base Salary guarantee plus wRVU production). Rapidly growing system with the addition of over 20 new physicians in the last two years.
