Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing high-quality care to our residents.

Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and maintain a safe and effective care environment
- Monitor resident health status and coordinate medical care with doctors and specialists
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and promote a culture of respect and dignity
- Oversee medication management and administration
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, nursing best practices, and changes in healthcare regulations

Skills:
- Assisted living experience: Strong knowledge of the unique needs of residents in an assisted living setting
- Nurse management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of nurses effectively
- Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Medical terminology: Proficient understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Resident rights: Thorough knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them
- Nursing administration: Experience in nursing administration, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Medicare: Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
- Home health: Understanding of home health services and their integration into overall resident care
