Prospect Management Strategist/54699/Remote
This Position is for a Prospect Management Strategist with a Remote company in Jackson.

 

Job Summary: The Prospect Management Strategist will work at the intersection of the art and science of fundraising within the Prospect Management team and will report to the Director of Prospect Management within Global Development Division. This team is responsible for implementing strategies to support prospect identification, segmentation, and assignment recommendations and other related services for the Conservancy's fundraising teams. The Prospect Management Strategist will support and promote the strategic priorities of the Prospect Management team. They will develop and implement processes and communication strategies to improve the quality and consistency of the organization's management of high potential donors and prospects.

 

Duties And Responsibilities: This position will collaborate with Business Unit fundraising staff, conducting portfolio reviews and consultations with out-the-door fundraisers and development operations staff, to help them achieve a healthy balance in their portfolios. They will provide relevant information to support fundraising decision-making, solution-finding, and to improve fundraising workflows to enhance efficiency. In addition, this role will work closely with Prospect Management analytics staff to capture, analyze, and provide guidance on major gift prospect activity. The role may require substantial collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to align approaches and maximize outcomes. This position may take on additional duties to enhance the work of the team, such duties may include, but are not limited to, directing recurring processes regarding team outreach with Business Units, refining services to meet the needs of stakeholders, and/or enhancing the systems and tools used by the team. They will analyze circumstances, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions to improve effectiveness. They may travel occasionally and work long and flexible hours as needed.

 

Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination. Experience managing and implementing multiple projects. Experience supervising staff, interns, and/or volunteers. Experience with current and evolving technology in relevant field. Experience working with cross-functional teams. Experience creating reports, manipulating, and analysing data, and communicating results to non-technical audiences. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated. Experience driving measurable results to achieve institutional, departmental, and team goals. Experience acting with professionalism, integrity, and tact in guiding communications and relationships. Experience planning and completing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet goals. Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results. Experience applying Agile, Lean & Design Thinking principles and methodologies to team's work.

Benefits: The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $73,400 - $108,100 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
