Duties: Ensure the plant’s achievement of productive, quality and cost-effective aims; Guarantee the correct management of the processes in accordance with the group policies and procedures; Supervise compliance with safety provisions; Support in the relationships with stakeholders; Deal with the corporate depts. in order to maximize productivity, efficiency and service to clients; Support in the achievement of the defined budget aims; Guarantee the correct management and maintenance of plants; Guarantee optimization of energy and water consumption and the exploitation of raw materials; Check the production plan; Check and validate production reports; Collaborate with the Group Technical Dept personnel in the process of permanent improvement in: efficiency of productive processes - energy and water consumptions - exploitation of raw materials; Manage relationships with the plant’s trade unions representatives; Responsible for the collaborators’ professional growth, valorization and motivation; Promote a safety-bound corporate culture; Promote the Corporate Principles and Values.
Job requires 5 years of experience in job or related managerial or supervisory roles in paper manufacturing at a large paper mill environment. Five years’ experience leading technical improvement programs and updating machinery and processes, and at least two years managing converting production activities. Previous experience implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as Lean and Six-Sigma to drive improvement; Experience leading high volume paper production; Building people capabilities; Technical skills in writing equipment training modules and user manuals.
